I use a screenreader, nvda. I decided to set it to the eti eloquence speech synthesizer and put the voice on the french voice. I then set the inflection to 50 and typed the letters "r" and "h" over and over to make it sound funny when it tries to read it. The first part is the normal voice, the second part i applied ring modulation with lots of lfo effect.

My iphone died, but not completely. The screen was cracked, the battery was failing and it was difficult to make contact in the worn charging socket to charge it. It reset itself frequently and never stayed on in any temperature below 65 degrees f. So i downloaded my data and activated a new phone, but lo and behold, i couldn't turn off the old one. I would have to wait for the battery to run down. For once, the battery lasted. Two days later i listened to the alarm go off for ten minutes. My arms were full of laundry, and suddenly my backup alarm started blaring, loaded with an obnoxious ringtone. My back porch is concrete. My 16-ounce claw hammer was handy.

The mechanical noise and signature "chord" associated with the "mac mini (2010 model)" upon startup/boot. Brief mechanical motor and clicking noises followed by the famed sustained f sharp major chord (detuned 30 cents flat) being projected over low quality, built-in speakers. Mechanical noise has defined pitch and is predominantly in the mid-high frequencies. Recorded on zoom h2n, in small, empty room. Audio clip normalized in post-processing.

It's just a sterling silver spoon being dropped gently onto a wooden cutting board. Nevertheless, first thing i used this sound for was a dwarf hammering a weapon.

I foudd this frequency, between 4450 and 4475 khz whilst going through channels on radiosdr. Org. It sounds a bit like a printer and then lower down sounds like a laser. Sorry for the sound of me pressing the keyboard, my laptop has an internal microphone so this was picked up.

Recording of traditional sneaker with hard rubber sole stepping down on glasses on hardwood floor. Moderate room tone present. Glasses used were a pair of old metal framed earhook with polymer type prescription lens and an all plastic frame "blue light reducing" pair with plastic lens. I created this torture sound for a short film i made. I used a verse 504 labtech mic with a sony mini disc recorder in my garage. I smashed a cantaloupe with a hammer adjusting mic placement until i had the desired volume and sound.
